(Windows) Cannot install Jajuk

I've got the latest jre(1.6.0_04) and mplayer. heck i've even got jdk 1.6.0_04.

the trouble is that jajuk just won't install. i tried it with 1.5b3 installer nothing it just appears in the task manager for a moment and disappears. tried with 1.4.6 installer same thing. tried installing from a jar file following the instructions and it just ends up showing me exception which you can see on the pic below

can someone help me finally install this damn thing.

i'm running windows xp with the latest updates on hp nx8220.

It seems to be a very marginal issue caused by some custom configuration of your graphical interface, check http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6503988 I suppose none Java/Swing application works for you, right ?

We cannot help you mush on this, please report any workaround, it would be added into the FAQ.

actually all java/swing applications work for me without a fuss. eclipse works without a fuss, azureus works basically every java application i tried except for jajuk.

will try the link. thats for your help.

Eclipse and azureus use SWT (native widgets). It can explain why it works. Did you tested Swing applications ?

(To test, simply try the Java GUI console (Start->Parameters-> Java): it is pure Swing)
