[Albums Properties] windows: Show Discovery date

Can we have the discovery date of the album in its property windows?

No because it is not an album property but a track property. a solution could be to display a discovery date if all tracks one are the same but it would break some of the property wizard code as it is currently property agnostic and generic but cannot display a data that is not a property of the item we show.

Well, a discovery date as been calculated as some point in the "album catalog" sort by "discovery date". Is it possible to see this value?

If I remember well, it's the date of the first track found. We could use it but:

• it can be false and not in the "jajuk spirit" because on all others properties, we display void if the item contains several values
• the main problem is for me the fact that we'll have to break the genericity of the property dialog design because this value would not be an album property found by introspection but a computed property.

But you may be right... we should perhaps be less rigid and allow this kind of fantaisy if it helps users and I need this value as well in the upcoming Album table view. I'll think about it;

If it is not too much work, I still propose to see it even if this the first track (we can even specify it in info message when then mouse going over). It will help to understand how albums are sorted in the the "album catalog" sort by "discovery date".

perhaps it is possible to show a range? minimum year of all album tracks - maximum year of all album tracks

This would still complexify the ticket but why not...
