Remember settings in device dialog

Description 

when creating a couple of new devices, it would be nice
if some settings (e.g. refresh time or the path of the
directory selection dialog) could be remembered.

I don't think you could extrapolate refresh time or path
from one device to another and device creation is a very
limited task so I don't think this is really useful.
