Mac OS X - jajuk doesn't start

Mac OS X 10.5.7 und jajuk 1.7.4 ---> plötzlich und unerwartet läßt sich jajuk nicht mehr starten ... das dock-icon hüpft ein wenig - das war's .... jajuk.app ist die einzige datei, die ich finden konnte .... schreibt sich jajuk noch irgendwo ein .... paketinhalt öffnen ? kann es mit dem update auf quicktime 7.6.2 zusammenhängen .... gibt es ev. eine betaversion ..... glaube aber, daß ich jajuk bereits nach dem update genutzt hatte .... was ist zu tun, war frh, daß ich endlich ein cd/mp3-verwaltungsprogramm/-player für mac os x gefunden habe ... danke

@Bertrand: I read some days ago, that appel updates its Java VM. I guess this new Apple VM is not compatible with Jajuk... Damn apple, why don't they use the sun implementation?... ;) Even because they also use now X86 cpus. Do you have an other idear why Jajuk does not work on Mac anymore?

On quicktime : I don't see any link with jajuk.

On the JRE upgrade : Is it a 1.6 JRE ? are you sure the upgrade doesn't force to use 1.5 VM ? (there some issues reported on Mac dealing with sharing several JRE on the same box)

Can you check logs in /home/<your user>/.jajuk/jajuk.log ?

Jajuk requires JRE 1.6 + , seems that you have only JRE 5. You need to upgrade to JRE 1.6.

Jajuk requires JRE 1.6 but even with JRE 1.6, jajuk doesn't looks to run under OSX (see ), need more investigations.

We fixed many issues with OSX packaging (in .app mode, Java Web start and java installer). This ticket should be fixed now in upcoming 15 aug 2010 daily build, 1.9RC7, 1.9 final. Feel free to reopen otherwise.

Notes :

• Jajuk requires Java 6 and now only runs under OSX INTEL, no more powerPC MACs
• A DMG will be provided instead of the zipped app in next RC and 1.9 final releases
