A remote control feature for the "command view" would be nice. Perhaps via a command line interface or lirc.

I have now described the changes that are done for D-Bus support in Jajuk, see http://jajuk.info/index.php/D-Bus#D-Bus_and_Java_Webstart

With this it is possible to use support from the desktop environment to link keys to D-Bus-commands and thus control Jajuk.

Basic support for D-Bus is available now. It allows to define hotkeys. We can not directly support hotkeys inside Jajuk, but need to rely on the operating system to allow the user to link key-presses to the corresponding D-Bus actions. The online-manual contains some examples of ways to remote-control Jajuk now.
