"it would be great if it was possible do change the tags by opening a drobdown menu when right clicking the playbutton."

Well... it's possible and could reduce the slimbar size by removing the rating button. What do you think Varun, Alexis ?

Than however rating should still be done without typing numbers in a tag field: means by having a rating button in the drobdown menu similar to the actual button. Maybe direct above the editable rating field/tag whatever in the drobdown.
